Founded in 1954 by Alcide Ouellet and his wife Chantale, the company is selling Ferguson tractors that will become Massey Ferguson three years later. Alcide's bussiness was successful in the 60s due to the famous Massey Ferguson 135 and some years later to the Massey Ferguson 165. In the 70s, Alcide stands out in its field by marketing forest skidder. In the 80s, Landini comes to complete the range of products already offered with Massey Ferguson tractors. During all these years, Alcide and Chantale are supported by their children: Louise, Gisèle, Gilbert, Jean-Pierre and Johanne; And each child contributes in his own way to the business. In 1987, Gilbert and Jean-Pierre join their father to found Alcide Ouellet and Sons Inc. They continued together in the manner of their father to develop the business.
